Q. How much do hearing aids cost?
Prices vary greatly depending upon technology. Prices range from $975 – $3250 per aid.
Q. What types of hearing aids do you sell?
We only use the highest quality products available in the hearing aid industry. Our experience has helped us select the best and most reliable hearing aids in the market. Among the major manufacturers, we use Oticon, Widex, Phonak, Starkey and others.
Q. Does Medicare or Medicare supplemental insurance pay for hearing aids?
Unfortunately, the answer is no. Hearing aids are not considered ‘necessary or reasonable” according to Medicare guidelines and are generally an out-of- pocket expense.
Q. Does traditional health insurance cover hearing aids?
Typically, standard health insurance does not cover hearing aids. Check with your insurance agent to learn if your policy covers hearing aid benefits. After your purchase there is a 30 day trial period. When that trail period is over we can provide you with the form and information you will need to file your claim. We DO NOT file insurance on hearing aids.
Q. Do I pay for the hearing aid upfront?
When you decide to purchase a hearing aids from us there is a $250 non-refundable deposit due that day. This is apart of the cost of the aids that you have chosen. The balance is due when the hearing aid(s) is received. You have a 30 day trial. After 30 days if you would like to return the aids you will be given a refund except the non-refundable $250 fee.
Q. What does this cost include?
Hearing aids, custom earmolds if needed, 5 visits within the first year with our Doctors of Audiology, manufactures repair & replacement warranty.
